BEASLEY SCORES TWO FOR PUEBLA
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
Saturday, February 9, 2013
American winger DaMarcus Beasley scored twice for Puebla in their 3-1 win over San Luis on the road. His performance in Saturday night's win is a reminder that it would be unwise to write off the winger just yet.

Will Klinsmann give Beasley a chance in March? If the Indiana native keeps scoring, he could force his way back onto the team.

Beasley's first goal is at 0:43 of the this video and his second comes at 1:01

DMB seems like he is enjoying the food down there more than he did in Holland.

DMB Still causes trouble for the opponent even if he is not scoring. He still has the speed (see video) and guile and has lots of WC and CL experience. He gets fouled alot which would create more set pieces and more opportunities for guys like O Gonzalez, Goodson, Boca, Deuce, Shea etc. that can get their head on the ball. We need speed, and we need guys like DMB to bridge the gap till Gatt, Shea, Gyau and our other speedy wings/forwards get more experience. Also- what about Kai Kamara?

We need width and wide players for USMNT as the loss vs. Honduras showed. JK needs to call up Beasley for the next game!

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
