Club Career

Peterlin shocked the US soccer community by signing a one-year deal with English power Everton in July 2009 after a relatively modest college career at Cal Poly SLO. He spent the 2009-10 season with Everton's reserve team where he played on a somewhat frequent basis. He was unable to accomplish the very difficult task of breaking into the first team and after the season he left on a free transfer.

Although he had interest from Motherwell of the Scottish Premier League, Peterlin trialed with Plymouth Argyle of League One and signed in late July 2010. At Plymouth, Peterlin earned sporadic playing time during the club's unsuccessful bid to avoid relegation.

After his contract with Plymouth expired, Peterlin returned to League One by signing a one year contract with Walsall in the summer of 2011.

International Career

Peterlin has never appeared with the US national team.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
