Club Career

While Pittman was born in Oklahoma City, he grew up in England, where he spent time in the academies of Aston Villa and, later, Nottingham Forest.

Pittman reached the fringes of the first team at Forest, appearing in several cup matches. He earned his first league experience on loan with Hartlepool United and Bury.

Pittman was released in 2006 and signed with Doncaster Rovers on a one-year deal, but saw little playing time.

In June 2007, the forward signed with Crawley Town of the Conference, where he became a key player and earned accolades as one of the fifth division's best strikers.

His success was noticed by League One's Wycombe Wanderers, who purchased him in early 2009. Wycombe suffered relegation in Pittman's first half-season with the club.

During the next two years in League Two, Pittman suffered injury problems and struggled to find a place in the starting lineup.

In May 2011, Pittman signed with Oxford United, but after just a handful of appearances, was sent out on emergency loan to Crawley Town. In December 2011, he returned to Oxford.

International Career

Pittman hasn't appeared in international play.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
