Although Kenneth Di Vita Jensen has spent his whole life in Norway, he holds US citizenship by virtue of his American mother. The forward signed with Hønefoss BK at age 16 and has slowly worked his way into the first team, although his progress has been hampered by injuries.
In 2009, Di Vita Jensen went on loan to 3. Division Jevnaker, where he became the club's leading scorer.
Hønefoss earned promotion to the Eliteserien for the 2010 season. Di Vita Jensen spent most of the season as a substitute, scoring two goals. Hønefoss suffered relegation and Di Vita Jensen was used in the same role in the Norwegian second tier.
Hønefoss immediately bounced back to the top level, but late in the 2012 season Di Vita Jensen returned to the second division on loan to Ullensaker/Kisa.
Di Vita Jensen has played for Norway at the U-16 and U-17 levels, but his involvement in the international game has not extended beyond that point. He has stated that he's open to playing for the US should the opportunity arise in the future.
