Club Career
Adis "Baggio" Husidic was born in what is now Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1987 and came to the US as a child with his family to escape the Bosnian War in the early 1990s.
He settled in the Chicago area and went on to play for the University of Illinois-Chicago. Husidic signed with MLS after his junior season as part of the Generation Adidas program and was drafted by the Chicago Fire.
Husidic spent three seasons with the Fire and shuffled in and out of the starting lineup during his tenure. After the 2011 season, Chicago declined his option and Husidic was selected by the Colorado Rapids in the Re-Entry Draft.
Instead of accepting the Rapids offer, Husidic chose to sign with Hammarby in Sweden's second tier, where he will play under rookie manager and fellow American Gregg Berhalter.
International Career
Husidic has no international appearances.
