Club Career

George joined the FC Nürnberg system when he was nine years old and stayed with them until making his way to the U-23 team. After a conflict with Nürnberg's coaching staff, he left the team in 2012 and joined SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 2013.

He made his first team debut in October 2014. Afterwards, he would spend a majority of his time with Greuther Fürth's second team and scored a total of 23 goals in 43 appearances.

In 2015, he would go on to sign with SSV Jahn Regensburg.

International Career

George is eligible to play for either the United States or Germany.

He has expressed his desire to play for the US, but has so far not been called up to the team.

Jesse Marsch has claimed a personal accolade as he's been named Coach of the Year in Austria.
