Club Career

After graduating from Newberry College in South Carolina, Dieterich began his odyssey to find a professional team. After bouncing around the US soccer leagues and trying out for teams such as the Charleston Battery and Tampa Bay Rowdies, he would head to Iceland in April 2014. After a tryout and a long wait, he signed a contract with first division team Tindastoll.

Following a season with the team, he would move on to join IF Grotta.

In July 2017, it was announced that Dieterich would be sent out on loan to Haukar for the season.
