Club Career

Williamson was a member of the D.C. United academy before heading to the University of Maryland. After three years with the Terrapins, his MLS Homegrown rights were acquired by the Portland Timbers in January 2018.

Heading out to the Pacific Northwest, Williamson would be assigned to the Timbers second team in the USL, making 15 appearances and scoring three goals.

In August 2018, the Timbers announced that they loaned Williamson to CD Santa Clara for the 2018-2019 season with an optin to bring him back in January transfer window.

International Career

Williamson has so far represented the United States at youth level. He was the only collegiate player on the roster when the US participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2017. He started four of the five games as they advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The final stretch of the English league season is upon us, with several Americans on the verge of relegation with their teams.
