Club Career

Alfaro would get his professional career off the ground in January 2016 when he was selected by the Seattle Sounders in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft. He would go on to make his debut for the team in the reserves against the Sacramento Republic in March.

In May 2016, Alfaro made his first team debut, coming on for Brad Evans, in their game against the New England Revolution.

After two seasons bouncing between Seattle's first team and the reserves, Alfaro headed south of the border where he signed with Liga MX team Chivas de Guadalajara. He would eventually be sent on loan to Zacatepec.

International Career

A dual Mexican-US citizen, Alfaro has not represented the United States at the international level.

With Jesse Marsch and David Wagner at the helms of teams in the top flight, YA will cover their exploits this season.
