Club Career

Following his time at UCLA, Adekoya would return to the Seattle Sounders in January 2017 to sign a homegrown contract.

After spending some time on loan with Seattle Sounders 2, he would make his debut with the first team in May 2017 in a 3-0 loss to the Columbus Crew. In April 2018, Adekoya would be released by the Sounders.

Looking for opportunities to play, Adekoya headed to Denmark to sign with Vendsyssel FF in the Superliga. In his season and a half with the team he scored three goals in 22 outings.

In January 2020, Adekoya was on the move again, this time to Malta as he signed with Balzan FC.
