Club Career

Butler's career has seen him move to various teams around Bavaria.

He started with the youth academy at Augsburg before moving to Bayern Munich in July 2016. Within a span of two years, Butler would move his way up the youth ranks as he progressed from the Under-16 up to the Under-19 team. His performances earned him a call up to Bayern Munich II in their 2-1 win over Wacker Burghausen.

In July 2019, Butler would leave Bayern to sign with Ingolstadt.

International Career

With both German and American parentage, Butler is eligible to represent either country internationally.

He has participated in the United States Under-18 national team's training camp in the past.
