Former Troyes goalkeeper Quentin Westberg has finally found a club after officially signing with Ligue 2 outfit Evian Thonon-Gaillard for an undisclosed sum for the remainder of the season.

"Yes, that is the case, he joined last Wednesday," the team's press officer confirmed to YA recently.

Evian TG coach Bernard Casoni recruited the 24-year old Clairefontaine academy product after learning that goalkeeper Johann Durand would be be sidelined for six weeks after injuring his back earlier in the season.

Westberg played 34 matches for Troyes last season, helping the Champagne-based club fight for promotion back to Ligue 2 after a year in the third tier of French professional soccer.

He had been looking for a new club since his contract expired at the end of June.

Westberg will wear number 40 for his new club.

Evian TG are currently fourth-place in Ligue 2.
