ACUNA ACCEPTS MEXICAN U-23 CALL-UP
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Friday, March 11, 2011
Yesterday the Mexican Federation announced that it has called up Mexican-American and emerging Queretaro midfielder Isaac Acuna to an U-23 roster for a camp this month.

It is part of their team's preparations for this summer's Copa America.

Acuna, 21, recently told YA that he had not thought much of his international future but that he would likely go with the first team that called him up.

Despite having played only four professional first team experience in his career, Mexico has appeared to win this race.

As remaining consistent with our policy, YA will cease covering Isaac Acuna as long as he remains a Mexican national team player.
