Should U.S. Soccer bring back the U.S. Cup?
Absolutely. It would be far more competitive than the CONCACAF Nations League.
No. The international calendar is already congested.
Not sure.

American defender Gale Agbossoumonde has finally received official clearance to play for Eintracht Frankfurt's U23 team.

According to Frankfurt's Under-23 head coach Oscar Corrochano: "The player was cleared to play a few days ago." As a non-EU player, Agbossoumonde was not automatically cleared by the German Soccer Federation (DFB) to play in Germany's regional league. Eintracht's U-23 team is currently in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Süd.

The 19-year-old defender was even able to make his first "real" appearance for the club this past Saturday, when he played the last ten minutes of the team's game against SGS Großaspach. The under-23 team went on to win the game 2-1.

His next opportunity to take the field will come when the team returns to action on Saturday with a trip to take on SC Freiburg's U23 team.

Nice to see he has a place to play at last... still looking like a shot at playing with the u-23's might be in order soon in OLYMPIC Qualifying.

This is great news. Very happy to see that he was cleared to play. Frankfurt has high hopes for him, and they have said he could break into the first team sometime this year.

Agreed, HIA.

This is massive, he could be a big pice going foward Boss, and getting him time in is crucial.

He has a lot of talent. Good luck Boss.

VERY good news...

For a while there it was sounding like Gale was going to be a bench casualty and lose some extremely important developmental time due to his ineligibility..... Ver good to hear that he has been cleared and should earn quality time in a great program....
