JAMIE HILL - Monday, October 24, 2011
Terrence Boyd made the bench for Borussia Dortmund for the very first time over the weekend

The 20 year old did not get in the match, a 5-0 thrashing of FC Köln.

The German-American center forward developed in Hertha Berlin's academy, but switched clubs during the offseason when Dortmund offered him a place on their reserve team.

Boyd's hot form in the 2010-11 season has continued; the forward has bagged eight goals in ten games for the reserves in the Regionalliga West.

Boyd, the son of an American serviceman, obtained his US passport this winter. In May, he participated in a US U-20 camp in France.
