GATT RETURNS FROM INJURY
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Friday, February 10, 2012
Josh Gatt today returned from an ankle injury to play in today's friendly for Molde FK in a 3-2 win over fourth division club Ranheim.

With the score tied 2-2 in the 76th minute, the speedy winger Gatt was subbed into the game and only two minutes later Molde FK found the game winning goal.

Gatt was not the only player to feature in the game. US U-20 left back Sean Cunningham came on to start the second half for Molde who trailed 2-0 at the time.

Gatt's return to action should be welcome news for the US U-23 team who has Olympic qualifying next month and Gatt is expected to be a big part of the team.

Now..the opponents Ranheim is not a fourth division team.

For a long time they were fighting for the top in the second highest division in Norway last season.

They are pretty good team, allthough when Molde FK startet to "wake up" in the second half, they didn`t have much to fight back with. :-)

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
