FC Dallas winger Brek Shea may be the next American to head to the English Premier League.

As news broke on Friday, many more news outlets are reporting a pending deal that would send Shea to Stoke City.

Over the weekend, the BBC reported that Stoke City and Major League Soccer came to an agreed transfer price of rough 3.5 million pounds. The deal, however, is contingent on Shea passing a physical and that will be the biggest hurdle in the deal.

Shea played most of 2012 hurt with a foot injury and head surgery last November. He running and practicing in limited drills but he is far from being cleared to play. More news on this pending transfer should be revealed this week .

Should be interesting to see what happens. But I think when he is fully fit he will definitely help SToke City's offense. Also it seems he has recovered from surgery a little faster than what we thought.
