Journeyman Devann Yao has resurfaced in Belgium after leaving Royal Boussu-Dour Borinage of the second division Exqi League earlier this year, now suiting up for La Louviere.
The New Yorker left his last Belgian employer by mutual consent due to a lack of playing time after signing a two-year contract extension in order to follow a few suitors in France.
No deals were offered to the former Ipswich Town man and he has now crossed the border back into Belgium, signing a one-year deal with Union Royal La Louviere Centre
His current team plays in The Belgian Third Division B which is low on the totem pole of European soccer; however Yanks Abroad will bring updates on Yao on an occasional basis.
La Louviere currently sits in seventh place after four games.
