After recently having competed in the Dallas Cup, the US U20 national team's next competition will be the Cor Groenewegen Tournament in Uitgeest, Holland starting on May 22.
The schedule for the tournament is unknown at this time but the US has been drawn into the Pool B of the 12 team tournament.
The other teams in Pool B are Heerenveen, Atletico Mineiro, FC Utrecht, the Egyptian youth national team, and the Japanese youth national team.
Pool A consists of FC Uitgeest, Cruz Azul, FC Twente, Senegal, a Canadian youth national team, and a South Korean youth national team.
This tournament will be the third competitive tournament for the US U20 team of the current cycle which will end with next year's 2011 U20 World Cup in Colombia.
In the two previous tournaments for the US U20 team, head coach Thomas Rongen was forced to use mostly domestic based players however it is widely expected that Rongen this time will use a large contingent of foreign based players to compete in the Cor Groenewegen Tournament.
