Everton FC today announced that Tim Howard has signed a contract extension that would keep him at the club until 2016.

Howard, 33, joined Everton in 2006 from Manchester United and this contract will ensure that he will have a decade at Everton.

One week ago USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann was left scrambling to find players to fill out his roster to take on Italy.

A sudden rash of injuries forced him to replace Jermaine Jones, Timothy Chandler, Landon Donovan, and Jose Torres. One week before that, Klinsmann's team was informed that starting central defender Oguchi Onyewu would be out two months with a knee injury.

Clark back in better times at Houston
After featuring in one match for Eintracht Frankfurt, Ricardo Clark will be plying his trade elsewhere for the rest of the season.

According to kicker, Eintracht may loan Clark, 29, to Norwegian club Stabaek IF. Hessicher Rundfunk also reported that Clark could be at Stabeck until July 31st, quoting his agent Brian Eylert.
