Deuce claims US goal record in Prem
When Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey put away spilled save by Pepe Reina in the 85th minute on Monday night against legendary team Liverpool FC, he not only earned the Cottagers an important three points but also furthered his case for being the top American field player to ever compete in England's top division.

With the goal, his 37th in the Premier League since joining Fulham nearly five years ago, the Texan officially broke Brian McBride's record for goals scored by an American in the division.

Rongen nearly achieved the unthinkable
Former US U-20 and DC United manager Thomas Rongen recently made headlines for taking on the seemingly impossible task of managing American Samoa.

Agudelo is spending his off-season in Germany
US national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann has griped that the MLS season is too short, hampering the development of domestic players and allowing potential national team candidates to fall out of form and fitness over the off-season.

In order to rectify this issue, Klinsmann has been proactive as a matchmaker between up-and-coming MLS talent and European clubs. The German legend has used his connections in Europe to set up training stints for a group of Americans in MLS, most of whom are young players eligible for the U23 team.
