US national team head coach has made one addition to his roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers by adding Houston Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis.

Davis made his first US national team appearance under Klinsmann in a 0-0 draw against Canada. He subsequently made the roster for the team's first Hexagonal World Cup qualifier against Honduras but went as an unused substitute in a 2-1 loss.

As a left footed passer, Davis will give Klinsmann options in the midfield as left winger Brek Shea has only recently recovered from foot surgery and has seen limited time since transferring to Stoke City in March.

The addition of Davis, 31, bring the total number of players on the US roster to 24.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
