Bryan Gerzicich played 90 minutes as Ironi Kiryat Shmona fell to Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday in the semifinals of the State Cup.

Gerzicich and the Blue Lions were outclassed by the high flying lead leader's Maccabi Tel Aviv and were unable to slow down their potent offense.

Tel Aviv took the lead in the 44th minute through a Munas Dabbur goal, his 10th of the season to go in up 1-0 at half time. Then, immediately following the break, former Sunderland attacker Rade Prica put the guests on top 2-0.

Shimon Abuhatzira converted a penalty in the 65th minute to give the defending champions hope but they were unable to take advantage of several opportunities late in the match while looking disparately for an equalizer.

Eran Zehavi then sealed thew in for Tel Aviv and extended the lead to 3-1 in the game and keep Kiryat Shmona winless in the playoff's so far.

Gerzicich and the Blue Lions continue to look for their first win this Saturday when they face Maccabi Haifa on Saturday.
