Maurice Edu returned to the Bursaspor lineup as they picked up a big home win over Beşiktaş on Monday night.

After missing Bursaspor's last match with an injury, Edu started and played 90 minutes in central midfield as the team picked up goals from South American's Sebastian Pinto and Pablo Batalla in the first half.

Pinto, the Chilean striker, had also missed games recently due to injury, notched his first goal back in the 15th minute strike to put the hosts on top over third placed Beşiktaş.

Then, Argentine attacking midfielder Pablo Batalla extended the lead with his club best 12th goal of the season in the 37th minute.

Celebrations continued in the second half for the Green Crocodiles and their fans as Ferhat Kiraz tallied his fourth goal of the season in the 65th minute to ensure a victory for the home team.

Bursaspor remains in fifth place and trails Kasımpaşa by three points. The Green Crocodiles next travel to last place Mersin İdmanyurdu for a match on Saturday afternoon.

Bursaspor will be eager for three more points as the Red Devils have not won a match since January 27th.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
