PREVIEW: AS ROMA - PESCARA
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
SCOTT PETERSON - Friday, April 19, 2013
Michael Bradley is in line to start for AS Roma in midfield as the Romans host bottom-club Pescara on Sunday.

Bradley looks to make his second start in a row for Roma in the Serie A and the Romans could leapfrog Rivals Lazio with a win.

After knocking off Torino by a goal last time out, Roma sits behind their arch enemies from the capital on goal difference with 51 points.

Head coach Aurelio Andreazzoli will by all accounts be without the services of Miralem Pjanic, who is struggling with a minor injury. Defender Federico Balzaretti is certain to miss due to suspension after picking up a red card last week.

Pescara enters the match with a host of injury concerns afflicting, among others, starting defender Antonio Bocchetti and Colombian midfielder Jose Fernando Quintero.

Roma should expect to have a fight on their hands Sunday as the outfit from Abruzzo is on life support, seven points back with six games to play.

Kickoff at the Stadio Olimpico is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. local time.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
