Carlos Bocanegra and Racing Santander desperately need a win on Friday when they host Barcelona II.

Racing Santander - Barcelona II

Bocanegra and Santander are coming off two consecutive 1-0 losses against Girona and Villarreal and will need goals to defeat the high powered Barcelona attack.

Barcelona lead the Segunda División in goals scored this season and currently sit in eighth place in the league with 51 points. However, they also lead the league in goals given up and the Highlander's will have to take advantage of this if they're to come away with three points.

Santander has struggled to score goals all season and is second to last with only 28 goals in 35 games. Friday's match will see opposing styles clash as Bocanegra and the solid Santander defense try to absorb the quick Barcelona attack.

Santander will be without Gonzalo Herrero and Marti Crespí through injury and Hameur Bouazza, who is in France due to a family emergency. Defender Andreu may also miss the game after he was injured last week against Villarreal.

The talented youngster's of Barcelona come into the game healthy.

Notes

Oguchi Onyewu and Málaga host Getafe on Sunday.
