ANDY SCHREUR - Friday, April 26, 2013
Bryan Gerzicich and Israeli Kiryat Shmona host Bnei Yehuda on Saturday in Israeli playoff action.

Ironi Kiryat Shmona - Bnei Yehuda

Gerzicich played 20 minutes as a substitute last week as Kiryat Shmona finally got their first win of the playoffs over Hapoel Tel Aviv thanks to Shimon Abuhatzira's four goals.

Yehuda are four points behind the Blue Lions in fifth place and are coming off a surprise win over Maccabi Haifa last week. They're lead by tricky Argentine midfielder Pedro Galván, who has 10 goals this season.

With a win and a Hapoel Tel Aviv loss, Kiryat Shmona could move back into third place and European qualification. There are only four league matches remaining for the defending champions as they look for another year of European qualification and the all important revenue it will bring.

Notes

Leonard Krupnik is not expected to play when Maccabi Netanya visit Beitar Jerusalem.

Ryan Adeleye and Hapoel Ashkelon host Maccabi Ahi Nazareth in Liga Leumit relegation round action.
