RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
SCOTT PETERSON - Monday, April 29, 2013
Michael Bradley started for Roma, who destroyed Siena on Sunday to continue their quest for Europe next season.

Bradley put in 90 minutes of solid work for head coach Aurelio Andreazzoli's midfield.

Roma took the lead in the 14th minute with Erik Lamela and Paolo Osvaldo hooking up and the latter eventually chipping keeper Gianluca Pegolo from close range.

Francesco Totti set up the Romans' second goal with a delicate pass over the defense onto the path of Lamela, who buried a volley into the back of the net in the 16th minute.

Roma made it 3-0 in the 41st minute with Osvaldo netting number two with Florenzi shrugging off a pair of defenders before finding Osvaldo on the edge of the box, where the striker buried a rocket of a shot in the back of the net.

Osvaldo completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute with the easiest of goals, burying a rebound from half a yard out with his right.

With the win, Roma is in fifth place with 55 points, one more than Udinese, two more than Inter and three more than Lazio. Up next for Roma is a road date versus Fiorentina on Sunday.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
