PREVIEW: BURSASPOR - ORDUSPOR

ANDY SCHREUR - Thursday, May 2, 2013
Maurice Edu and Bursaspor look to pick up three points at Orduspor on Saturday.

Bursaspor - Orduspor

Edu returned to the lineup last week in a 1-1 draw with Akhisar at home, which drew the Green Crocodiles within two points of rivals Beşiktaş, who currently sit in third place. Bursaspor will look for all three points against struggling Orduspor.

The hosts have lost seven consecutive matches and have plummeted down the Süper Lig standings. They've also been shut out in four straight games heading into Saturday's clash with fourth place Bursaspor.

Edu, if healthy, figures to start once again in central midfield, where he'll support Bursa's potent midfield attack. Pablo Batalla, who leads the team with 15 goals in all competitions and scored their only goal last week, leads the attack.

In addition to Edu being questionable, fellow midfielder Fernando Belluschi is also questionable and did not practice with the first team on Thursday. Orduspor have not reported any injuries.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
