US U-18 forward Paul Arriola has become the latest American to join Club Tijuana after signing a pro contract on Thursday.

Arriola, 18, is a native of Chula Vista, California and most recently had been playing with the LA Galaxy Academy but will now move to Liga Mx's Club Tijuana to begin his professional career after agreeing to a four year contract this week.

"Paul has officially signed," Arriola's agent Chris Megaloudis e-mailed YA on Friday.

Club Tijuana is no stranger to American players. On the club's first team, Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona regularly start while Gregory Garza occasionally sees minutes off the bench. In the youth level, Alejandro Guido and Stevie Rodriguez are constant features for the club's U-20 team.

It is expected that Arriola will begin playing initially with Tijuana's U-20 team.
