Josh Gatt and Molde picked up their sixth point of the season in a tie on the road.

Sandnes Ulf 0 - 0 Molde FK

Josh Gatt and Molde wasted chances early and survived some nervy minutes late to secure their sixth point of the season at Sandnes Ulf.

Gatt started on the right wing of Molde's 4-3-3 formation and went the distance.

In the first half, Daniel Chima put himself into perfect places for goal-scoring opportunities, but on his two best chances, including one he chipped over goalkeeper Sean McDermott, Chima shot wide of the net. Because of this, both teams went into halftime scoreless.

Molde couldn't replicate those chances in the second half like it had created in the first, as the Sandnes Ulf defense held the Molde attackers at bay. Meanwhile, in the last 15 minutes, Molde goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland made two big saves that kept the match scoreless and allowed Molde to get a point from the match.

With the tie, Molde continues to hold last place in the Tippeligaen with six points. The team returns to action Thursday against Haugesund.

Notes

Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg travel to Steve Clark, Kenneth di Vita Jensen and Hønefoss on Monday.

American winger Anthony Avalos played the final 10 minutes of Vard Haugesund's 3-2 loss to Strømmen on Sunday.

Rhett Bernstein dressed but did not come off the bench for Mjøndalen in the team's 2-0 loss to Stabӕk on Sunday.

Because of yellow card accumulation, Zarek Valentin was unavailable for Bodø/Glimt's 1-0 win over Hødd on Sunday.
