Bryan Gerzicich played 77 minutes as Ironi Kiryat Shmona lost to Maccabi Haifa on Saturday.

Maccabi Haifa 2 - Ironi Kiryat Shmona 1

Gerzicich and the Blue Lions have now lost four straight, including the State Cup Final on Wednesday and have fallen into fifth place in the Israeli League standings.

Haifa's Ismail Raiyan and Alon Turgeman each scored within 15 minutes as Haifa coasted to the victory to remain comfortably in second place. Kiryat Shmona's leading scorer Shimon Abuhatzira did score in the 89th minute to make the score 2-1.

This may have been Gerzicich and Abuhatzira's last home match with Kiryat Shmona as the American is without a contract and the Israeli attacker is likely to be sold this summer.

Kiryat Shmona's last match of the season sees them travel to face Hapoel Ramat Gan in a rematch of the State Cup Final.

Notes

Ryan Adeleye was sent off for two yellow cards as Hapoel Ashkelon beat Beitar Shimshon Tel Aviv 3-2.

Leonard Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya's season is over and has been relegated into the second division.
