RJ DEMELLO - Friday, June 28, 2013
Chuck Chijindu, Joe Funicello, Josh Wicks, and Thor look to build on last week's draw with third place Stjarnan as they travel south to face Keflavik IF Sunday.

All three Americans are healthy and look to play prominent roles in the match with Wicks in goal Funicello in defense and Chijindu in the attack.

In their first season back in Iceland's top flight Thor sits two spots and five points above the relegation zone. Last week saw the team from Akureyri come back from a goal down to tie third place Stjarnan 1-1.

Keflavik sits one spot ahead of Thor in the standings on only goal differential. Last week the team from the south of Iceland defeated the 10th place team IA Akranes 3-2.

Sunday's matchup will be the first between the two teams this season. The last time these two met was 2011 with the teams splitting the series with a win a piece.
