Babajide Ogunbiyi will hope for his Superliga debut when Viborg visit Nordsjaelland while Charlie Davies might be a bench option for Randers against visiting Odense.
FC Nordsjaelland - Viborg FF
After after a mixed season opener, Babajide Ogunbiyi and Viborg will look to pile on the misery for Nordsjaelland on Friday when they pay a visit to Farum Park.
Nordsjaelland midfielder Conor O'Brien was not named in head coach Kasper Hjulmand's gameday squad.
Viborg performed admirably in their first top-flight action in over 5 years last weekend, benefitting from a late score by Ousmane Sarr to sneak a point in their 2-2 draw with Europe-bound Randers.
Ogunbiyi missed that game having only signed with the team in the preceding day, but will be eager to regain the starting spot in central defense which he held down for the better part of two seasons during his first spell in Viborg.
Nordsjaelland's season got off to an awful start on Monday evening, as they were utterly demolished in a 4-0 shut-out at Esbjerg fB.
The team will need to build confidence heading into next week's tough Champions League qualification match against Russian powerhouse Zenit St. Petersburg, and will try to make the best of this opportunity to sharpen their claws against the newly promoted Greens.
Viborg are not reporting any absences.
In addition to O'Brien, Nordsjaelland are missing Kasper Lorentzen, Søren Christensen, Oguzhan Aynaoglu, Kristian Lindberg, Uffe Bech and Andreas Laudrup to injury.
Charlie Davies did not suit up Randers in last weekend's opener, but will hope to be included in the squad on Sunday when they host Odense BK.
