RJ DEMELLO - Wednesday, July 31, 2013
Michael Bradley and AS Roma travel to Sporting Park Wednesday night to take on the MLS All-Stars, led by Thierry Henry.

The Roman club comes to town just over three weeks away from the start of its 2013-2014 Serie A campaign. Last year saw the Giallorossi finish sixth in the standings, one place out of European competition. Roma is coming off of a 2-1 win over Greek club Aris, with Bradley scoring the winner in the matchup.

The All-Star opponents have added the likes of Maicon, Kevin Strootman, and Mehdi Benatia to the squad over the course of the transfer window. However, the team did lose Maarten Stekelenburg, Marquinhos, and Simone Perrotta at the same time.

For the MLS All-Stars, this will be the team's first matchup with a squad from outside of Great Britain in nine years. Last year saw the team take down Chelsea by a score of 3-2 at the Philadelphia Union's PPL Park.

Henry is set to captain the side with such notable names as Marco Di Vaio and Landon Donovan. Tim Cahill had to withdraw due to injury, with Jack McInerney taking his place.

The game is set to kick off Wednesday at 9:00PMET on ESPN2.
