Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg stretched out their unbeaten streak to 14 matches, while Steve Clark and Hønefoss' losing slide continued.

Valerenga Oslo 0 - 0 Rosenborg Trondheim

Although Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg added a 14th match to their unbeaten streak in Tippeligaen play, Rosenborg left Oslo disappointed following a scoreless tie against Oslo on Saturday.

Diskerud started in central midfield and played 70 minutes before coach Per Joar Hansen substituted for him.

Neither team had great scoring chances in the first half, but Valerenga looked the more dangerous team. To start the second half, Rosenborg came out flying and almost opened the scoring in the 47th minute when Jonas Svensson shot from six yards away, but Valerenga goalkeeper Gudmund Kongshavn managed to get a hand to it.

That turned out to be the best chance for Rosenborg, as the Trolls Kids wasted many in the second half, and the match ended in a tie. Rosenborg increased its lead on top of the Tippeligaen standings to three points, having played one match more than second-place Strømsgodset, and the team returns to action Wednesday against Valerenga in the quarterfinal of the NM Cup.

Hønefoss BK 0 - 1 Sandnes Ulf

An own goal undid Steve Clark and Hønefoss on Sunday in a home loss to Sandnes Ulf.

Clark manned his usual spot in net for Hønefoss.

After a drool first half where neither team created too many opportunities, the second half stayed the same except for an own goal that came out of nowhere in the 62nd minute. A free kick from the right sideline went too far, and Hønefoss' Helge Haugen got his foot on it. The problem is that the ball crossed the box away from Clark before going into the back of the net.

Hønefoss couldn't find an equalizer and needed a couple of saves from Clark to keep it a one-goal match. The loss increased Hønefoss' losing streak to five matches and winless run to nine, keeping the team in last place, and the team returns to action Sunday against Sarpsborg 08.
