Josh Wicks went the distance in goal as Thor played to a draw with Fram at home on Sunday.

The goalie continues to be the Akureyri club's number one as the season comes to a close. Chuck Chijindu, the team's leading scorer, failed to make the 18 man roster for the game.

It took until the second half for either team to find a breakthrough, with Thor going ahead in the 54th minute. Midfielder Armann Evarsson scored his second goal on the year putting the ball by Fram goalie Ogmundur Kristinsson.

Fram would not be denied on the day and tied the match up in the 68th minute. Young midfielder Holmbert Fridjonsson continued his stellar play that sees the player tops of the goal-scoring charts with 10 now on the year.

The draw brings Thor up to ninth in the Urvalsdeild table with 17 points from 18 games. With four games left to play the team sits just three points above the relegation zone. Up next Thor travel to face third place Stjarnan, who the team drew 1-1 with earlier in the season.
