Alejandro Bedoya started and helped FC Nantes earn a key home win over FC Sochaux.

Bedoya started in midfield and played 75 minutes before being substituted for Fernando Aristeguieta. While on the pitch, Bedoya helped Nantes dominate possession against the visiting team with his solid touch and passing.

Nantes finally scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute when Filip Djordjevic with a header in the penalty box off of a cross from Banel Nicolita.

The three points from the win pushes Nantes into the middle of a crowded Ligue 1 table, while Sochaux has fallen all the way to last place with the loss.

It has been a strong season so far for Bedoya, who has become a staple of Nantes' rotation and recently made his first ever appearance in a World Cup qualifier in the United States recent win over Mexico that sealed up qualification.

Lionel Zouma got a yellow card in the match for Sochaux, who will next host Lille OSC this Saturday. Bedoya and Nantes, meanwhile, will head to Olympique Lyonnais next Sunday.
