BRIAN SCIARETTA - Monday, January 13, 2014
It has been a busy transfer season so far this month and Fabian Johnson could be yet another American on the move.

Johnson, 26, is currently in the last year of his contract with Hoffenheim and sources have told YA that multiple teams from both the Bundesliga and the Premier League have inquired about his availability either this January or after the season. One such team involved is Borussia Monchengladbach.

Johnson has been with Hoffenheim since 2011 after he left Wolfsburg where he struggled for playing time. Born in Munich, Johnson began his international career with Germany where he won the European Championships in 2011 with the U-21 team. Holding an American passport, he switched his international affiliation to the United States in 2011 where he has been an important part of the team under head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
