BRANDON WIGGINS - Tuesday, February 4, 2014
Alejandro Bedoya and FC Nantes suffered yet another disappointing result on Saturday when they lost a Ligue 1 match at FC Sochaux.

Stoppila Sunzu of Sochaux scored the only goal of the match in the 45th minute with a header in the middle of the penalty box following a set piece.

Bedoya started the match and went for 60 minutes, playing in the right midfield in Nantes' 4-4-2 formation. Bedoya was a part of a couple good scoring attempts for Nantes in the first half but the team just could not break throug

This latest loss is the third match in a row in which Nantes has failed to come away with a win, a disappointing skid for a team that was at one point in good position for a European competition next season.

Now Nantes sits in eighth place in Ligue 1 and seven points out of fourth place. The club's next Ligue 1 match will be this Sunday when they host sixth-place Lyon.
