BRIAN SCIARETTA - Wednesday, February 26, 2014
The U.S. national team's game against Ukraine has been moved to Cyprus due to political unrest which has gripped the country in recent weeks.

The news was confirmed on the Ukrainian Federations website on Tuesday. It is not clear yet what the venue would be or when the kickoff would take place.

The game will be the second of 2014 for the U.S. team after it defeated South Korea 2-0 on February 1 in Carson, California. The game will be the first on a FIFA international date in 2014 and head coach Jurgen Klinsmann will have his European players for the first time since November.

The Ukraine enters into the game on the heels of a disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign where it was the highest ranked team not to advance to Brazil.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
