Duane Holmes has returned to Huddersfield Town after his month long loan to Yeovil Town was cut short by a week.

Holmes, 19, started but played just 29 minutes on Saturday for Yeovil in a 3-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers. It was later revealed after the game he had hurt his ankle in warmups. During the course of his loan to Yeovil, Holmes made four starts.

He will now rejoin Huddersfield which is the club he began playing for at the U-9 level. The club sits safely in midtable at 15th place and is neither a threat for relegation of a contender for promotion. This Saturday Huddersfield will visit Blackpool.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
