Juan Agudelo was the lone American in action in Holland this weekend, and he impressed in the last game of his loan spell at Utrecht.

Utrecht 2 - 1 Vitesse

Juan Agudelo starred for Utrecht as they took down Vitesse in their last game of the season on Saturday.

The former MLS star helped set Utrecht on the path to victory early on, assisting on Steve De Ridder's 40th minute opener. Jacob Mulenga held off defenders in the penalty area before dishing a pass to Agudelo, who ushered it right to De Ridder. The Belgian thumped home his shot from close range to put the hosts on top.

Vitesse bit back, and tied the game in the 68th minute. Renato Ibarra fed Zakaria Labyad a pass on the left wing, and Labyad cut inside onto his right foot. The Morocco international's shot blistered the palms of Utrecht keeper Robbin Ruiter and eventually found it's way into the back of the net to tie the score.

Ten minutes later, Agudelo gave his team the lead for good. Mulenga attempted to knock the ball by a defender in the penalty area, and Agudelo pounced. The American flicked a right-footed shot past Vitesse keeper Piet Velthuizen for his third goal since joining Utrecht at the end of January.

With Utrecht's season now over, having climbed all the way from the bottom of the standings to tenth place, Agudelo is now most likely moving on to another destination after a good stretch with Utrecht.
