DONOVAN SETS SCORING RECORD
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
KRIS LINDSAY - Tuesday, May 27, 2014
Landon Donovan tallied his 135th and 136th all time goals Sunday night as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 4-1.

Donovan surpassed Jeff Cunningham's previous goal total with a run to the back post and an easy tap in, after an excellent pass from forward Robbie Keane following a break away.

The goals come just days after Landon Donovan was controversially left off the 23 man roster for the United States that will be heading to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup.

Donovan put in a Man of the Match performance, scoring two goals and tallying an assist just minutes into the match.
