It was announced today that Julian Green will be on Bayern Munich's roster for the club's tour of the United States this summer.

Bayern Munich will take on Chivas de Guadalajara in New Jersey on July 31st and then the MLS All-Stars on August 6 in Portland, Oregon.

Also on Tuesday, Bayern head coach Pep Guardiola took part in a conference call with American media and indicated that he believed that the U.S. national team midfielder/forward would remain with the club through the season instead of going out on loan.

"It's never easy to be with a big club in the first squad," Guardiola said on Tuesday in a conference call with American media. "I think today he's going to stay - we're going to see in the preseason - but I know him. He's always training well, he's a good guy and my first idea is that he's going to stay for the rest of the season."

"He was with us in the preseason last year," Guardiola added, "and we were really impressed by his talent, his movement around the goal."
