The U.S. national team learned its fate at the draw for the Copa America Centenario on Sunday, and it wasn't kind as they were grouped with Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay.

This year's tournament, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the South American championship, will see the four teams battle it out in Group A. The U.S. will open the tournament on June 3 against Colombia in Santa Clara, Calif., followed by games against Costa Rica in Chicago and Paraguay in Philadelphia on June 7 and 11 respectively.

If the task wasn't any tougher, should the U.S. finish second in their group, they will have to face the winner of Group B, which could most likely be Brazil.

The quarterfinals are set for June 16-18, while the semifinals will be held on June 21 and 22.

The cup final will take place June 27 at MetLife Stadium.

The Draw

Group B:

Group C:

Group D:
