Rubio Rubin saw action for FC Utrecht as they walked away with a point in Holland's Eredivisie, while Ethan Horvath and Molde earned a shutout win over Aalesund in Norway's Tippeligaen.

Netherlands

Rubio Rubin started and played 73 minutes as FC Utrecht allowed the second half equalizer to settle for a 2-2 tie with SC Heerenveen.

Heerenveen had the more positive start in the first half as they opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Luciano Slagveer's shot from the left side of the box beat goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter. The visitors leveled the score in the 33rd minute as Sébastien Haller converted a penalty.

It only took two minutes for Utrecht to take the lead when Bart Ramselaar's shot from outside the box found the back of the net. However, the home side found the equalizer in the 69th minute through Reza Ghoochannejhad.

It's still very early in the season, but Utrecht are currently in 12th place in the standings.

Devesio Payne did not dress as FC Groningen suffered a 2-0 loss to Excelsior. Groningen currently sit at the bottom of the standings.

Scotland

Perry Kitchen was a second half sub in Hearts' 0-0 tie with Aberdeen. Bjorn Johnsen, who signed with the team in July, did not dress for the game.

France

Theoson Jordan Siebatcheu came on in the 71st minute as Reims settled for a 0-0 tie with Valenciennes.

Norway

Ethan Horvath was between the sticks for Molde as they earned a 2-0 win over Aalesund. The team are in seventh place in the standings.

Alex de John watched from the bench as Start settled for a 1-1 tie with Stromsgodset. Start are rooted to the bottom of the standings and it is highly possible that they will be relegated.

Cole Grossman started in the midfield as Stabaek's game against Viking ended 2-2. It has been a rough season for the Blue Ones as they now sit in the relegation zone compared with last season's second place finish.

Alex Horwath watched from the bench as Brann fell to Valerenga 3-2. The team sit in third place.

Sweden

Brendan Hines-Ike saw action in the 81st minute as Örebro earned a 1-0 win over Häcken. Örebro are currently in fifth place in the standings.

Switzerland

Caleb Stanko started and played the entire 90 minutes as Vaduz suffered a 3-1 home loss to Luzern.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Nermin Crnkic started and saw 60 minutes of action as FK Sarajevo settled for a 0-0 tie with Mladost Doboj Kakanj. Sarajevo currently lie third in the standings.
