INJURY FORCES JOHNSON TO SIT OUT
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
KENYA BROWN - Tuesday, December 13, 2016
Fabian Johnson will be out of action for several games as he has suffered an injured Achilles tendon, Borussia Mönchengladbach announced on Sunday.

The midfielder/defender did not dress for team's 1-0 win over Mainz over the weekend.

Johnson has so far played 20 games in all competitions this season for the Foals, scoring two goals along with two assist.

The Munich-born player is not the only player missing from the Gladbach roster as Ibrahima Traore, Patrick Herrmann, Marvin Schulz and Mamadou Doucoure are all out due to various injuries.

Hopefully, Johnson will return by the new year as the team look to work their way back up the Bundesliga standings and advance through the Europa League.
