KENYA BROWN - Wednesday, March 15, 2017
The US Under-20 national team will face Ecuador, Senegal and Saudi Arabia this summer in South Korea as the draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup took place on Wednesday.
All four teams have been placed in Group F.
The team, which qualified for the tournament after winning the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship in Costa Rica, will first take on Ecuador on May 22, meet Senegal three days later and finish with a game against Saudi Arabia on May 28. The first two games will be in Incheon and the third in Daejeon.
The 24-nation tournament consist of six groups, with the top two in each moving on to the knockout stage along with the top four third-place teams.
The US will hope they can improve on their finish from two years ago when they were eliminated in the quarterfinals on penalties by eventual champions Serbia.
