Kekuta Manneh is heading to Mexico as it was announced that the winger has signed with Liga MX team Pachuca for the 2018 Clausura season.
The move comes after the 23-year-old left Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew SC after their Eastern Conference final loss to Toronto FC.
In Manneh's five-year-long career in MLS, he amassed 26 goals and 15 assists in 127 games for the Crew and the Vancouver Whitecaps. After his contract expired, he would go on to train with German 2. Bundesliga team Union Berlin.
With his club future sorted out, Manneh will play alongside fellow American Omar Gonzalez as Los Tuzos look to improve on their performance in the new year as they finished in 12th place in the Apertura standings, missing out on the playoffs. They also fell short in their pursuit of the Copa MX title, losing 1-0 to Monterrey.
On the international scene, Manneh will look to work his way into the picture for the US national team as the Gambia-born winger obtained citizenship in earlier in 2017.
